HISTORY

• I came to the Island from Bradford, Yorkshire, in 1968 to work for Davidson Marsh, Architects, After 20 years or so I decided to stay!! Having married and started a family. After moving around for a while with Nicholson's (Shoprite) Projects Department, Kellett & Robinson Architects, and finally Dandara, I opted for self employment, joining former colleagues at the Studio, from where I have operated for the past 15 years.

During this time I have handled both large and small projects from Banks, Offices, Schools, Factories and Supermarkets, to Houses, garages and yes even a Dog Kennel!! Albeit a rather large one!!

My main area now is Residential or medium size Commercial, Industrial and Retail projects where I can offer a fast and personal sevice in the preparation of drawings, and the obtaining of statutory Planning and Building Regulation approvals.

All work is carried out on a computer CAD system, which I have been using in one form or another for over 10 years. This permits viewing your project as it takes shape, and being able to make modifications, "while you wait", before final drawings are produced.

The computer and associated technology also simplifies passing on of information, between other involved parties such as Engineers, Surveyors, & Government departments.

I do occasionally visit my old drawing board, as the photo shows, but only when modern technology has a small hiccup!!
